Azamara Cruises

Azamara Cruises is a cruise company. It is operational from the time of its born with almost two identical ships that provided leisure trips to Asia, Europe, Panama Canal and the exotic Caribbean. This cruise line was founded in May, 2007 as the subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd’s. Azamara Cruises and the Celebrity Cruises brand simply refresh its passengers with exotic and deluxe cruise experience. The Azamara ships originally created to expand the Celebrity Cruises' sub-brand Celebrity Expeditions but the shape and design were so different than it was decided that these cruises deserve a separate line of their own. Amazon Journey is an R class cruise ship. It was fully owned, managed and operated by the Azamara cruises.

This cruise line is also termed as a sub brand of the celebrity cruises. It bears a gross registered tonnage of 30,277 along with a passenger capacity of 710 in addition of 390 crew members. It gives you the 1:2 staff to the guest ratio. This cruise was built in the year 2000 as R six for the Renaissance Cruises. After the  declaration of the bankruptcy of Renaissance Cruises as they failed for the Pullmantur Cruises who renamed it as a Blue dream in 2005. Azamara Quest is another ship of this company it was in 2000 as R seven for the Renaissance Cruises. Following the collapse of the same, it was than transferred to the Spain-based Pullmantur Cruises and they named it as Blue Moon. But in 2007 it again come back to this fleet and once again acquired the original name.
