Crystal Cruises

Crystal Cruise Lines are most commonly known as Crystal Cruises. It was founded in 1988 as a luxury cruise liner company. This brand was notable for its two medium sized and high end ships. This line is a fully owned subsidiary of Nippon Yusen Kaisha. It is a large shipping company that is Japanese by nature. With these cruise liners one can find around 85% North American and about half of those from California. Not only this, the ships of this liner company have been routinely voted as number one by the Conde Nast Traveler and other magazines readers. Guidebooks usually scored the three ships among the top 20 of best cruise ships.

This brand operates with two ships one is Crystal Symphony and the other is Crystal Serenity. Symphony is the smaller one among them. It was built in 1995. It can hold around 940 passengers. Whereas in comparison to Symphony Serenity can hold around 1,050 passengers along with 650 crew members. The bigger cruise of this fleet was born in 2003 means Serenity. It is 820 feet’s long with an overall tonnage of approximately 68,000. It is one of the cruise business biggest ships that proudly flaunts with the 548 staterooms that can accommodate almost twice of the staterooms. Apart from this all the stateroom are outside and in order to offers you breathe taking views most of them are furnished with private balconies. It is considered as the sister ship of Symphony. Another ship Crystal Harmony was retired from the fleet in the year 2005 and transferred to parent company.
