Oceania Cruises

Oceania Cruises is a US based shipping company that operates on worldwide itineraries with three luxury ships. Presently it is the worlds largest upscale cruise company that offers good quality food and best itineraries at the best affordable price as compare to other same scale companies. Since 2007, it was owned by the Apollo Management. Ocenia cruise company was founded in 2002 by the luxury cruise industry players Joe Watters and frank Del Rio, latter he became the vice president of Renaissance Cruises.

In late 2005, a third R class ship entered into the service for Oceania Cruises when the company charter RFive from Cruiseinvest and renamed her Nautica. At the naming ceremony of the Nautica , Frank del Rio announced its plan of adding a forth ship Marina to the fleet of Oceania Cruises in July 2007. But unfortunately it did not come to pass. In early 2007, most of the Ocenia fleet stocks were sold to the Apollo Management of New York. The following month Ocenis cruise company signed the memorandum of constructing two new 1,260 passenger ships with the Fincantieri shipyard of Italy. The contract was finalized with the delivery dates of two new members of Oceania Cruises for the September 2010 and July 2011. This memorandum also inculcates an option for the third vessel of the same type that may be delivered in May 2012.
